Event Details

Join us at 9:00 a.m. at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, in Plymouth, to kick off the month with a group ride! Get a head start on your riding goal by enjoying a ride around the scenic pathways of Medicine Lake. The ride will loop around and return to Mount Olivet Lutheran Church by 11:30 a.m. Small snacks and water will be available. This event is hosted by Great Cycle Challenge.

There will be three distance options for riders: 1 mile, 5 miles or 10 miles.

Be sure to get there early to hear a warm welcome from an incredible family, whose daughter is a cancer survivor - they will also be sending us off on our morning ride! The paths are family friendly, so help spread the word and invite your family and friends to join. We look forward to riding together to kick cancer’s butt!

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for this group ride! We hope you had a chance to connect with some of your fellow riders and enjoyed hearing from Brooklyn and her family. Great Cycle Challenge is off to a great start, with over $3 million already fundraised for childhood cancer research! Keep up the great work!!

Hi, Joe! This ride will still happen if it's raining. We will have to cancel, however, if there is lightning. We will be making the call at 7 AM tomorrow morning and will send an email to all registered participants to confirm either way. Thanks for asking!

I wish there were more ride groups that ride on Sunday, I work Friday night Saturday morning and don’t get back till around 930-1000am than it’s a three hour drive to the cities for a group ride.

Greg: Thank you for that feedback! That is great information to keep in mind as we continue to grow the group ride tool. I hope you'll consider setting up your own Sunday group ride! I'm sure there's lots of other folks who would love a Sunday option as well. Happy riding!

Hi, Mary! There will be a very small portion of the ride on local streets to get us onto the paved trail, but the majority of the ride will be off road. Hope you can join us!
