I'm Riding For
Tim Tobin, C. Edgardo Rojas, Clarence Beck, Holger Hinderer and Alphonso Williams
This year I'm riding in special honor of my long-time friend Tim Tobin who is a cancer survivor and just celebrated one year of being cancer from this year! Tim will join me this year on the New York Times Billboard on Tribute Day!! I will also ride in honor and memory of my Cousin Clarence Beck and my good friend Alphonso Williams who both passed away last year of cancer. And for my brother-in-law Holger Hinderer who was recently taken away from us because of this terrible disease, I will ride in your honor as well this year my friend. Thank you Holger for re-building the bike that I use for these rides. I will ride again this year for Cristian Edgardo Rojas who was the nephew of a friend of mine and was taken by cancer at the early age of 15. Sadly, I witnessed firsthand how his Uncle endured the pain of losing his nephew who was like a son to him.
My Story
This June, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
