This September, for the tenth year, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So together, Gene and I are raising funds through this challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer. Our team is Old Folks on Bikes. If you like to ride, we can always use more team members and/or company for a stretch!

This year, Gene and I are looking into spending the month of September riding the shores of Lake Michigan, in both Wisconsin and Michigan. Stay tuned! As our plans develop, I'll let you know where we are and will post pictures of us and our bikes, Coco and Ash.
