I'm Riding For

Taylor St. Pierre

Taylor St. Pierre

This year I’m “riding for” Taylor St. Pierre, a beautiful and courageous high school sophomore in Chesterfield, VA. Taylor is a 16-year-old survivor who was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 4. After two years and two months of grueling treatments, she achieved remission and has been cancer free for 12 years. Taylor enjoys spending time with her friends, taking family camping trips to the beach and mountains, attending music concerts and cheering on her sister’s volleyball team. It is my honor to “ride for” Taylor during the month of June as I ride to reach my goal of 125 miles. She recently enjoyed her cancer-versary celebrating with her twin sister, Ella, and her parents, Lisa and Ted St. Pierre. Taylor’s mother, Lisa, has been a friend of mine and school counselor colleague for 16 years. Please consider donating in HONOR of Taylor. All money donated is tax-deductible and supports research to develop better treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

My Story

2 May 2019

This June, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.
