This June, I will be taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to raise awareness about childhood cancer.
In 2016, in the US, 1,324 kids under 15 years-old died from cancer. According to the WHO, “cancer is the leading cause of death for children and adolescents,” with about 300,000 kids diagnosed every year.
So, what can we do about it? We can support grant organizations like the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. The fund spent $9 million on research grants, education, awareness, and family services in FY 2018.
Please pledge your support by choosing Donate Now. Or, better yet, join the Challenge too and help spread the world.
