During the month of September 2023, I will be participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer. This will be my seventh year riding for this cause because it is near and dear to my heart.

Why am I doing this? Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 pass away from cancer every week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it!

This year, I am riding in honor and support of eight year old Arya Olsen, who is has been fighting a brain tumor since November 2022. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I will be pedaling for the entire month of September, and my goal is to ride 483 miles and raise $5,000 with this challenge to help children and support the Children's Cancer Research Fund. It will be challenging, but nothing compared to what these children face every day of their lives as they battle this terrible disease.
