I'm Riding For

Susie and Don Finnegan

Susie and Don Finnegan

I am riding this year for Susie and Don Finnegan. My brother and sister-in-law who have both fought and am fighting cancer. Don had esophageal cancer and has been cancer free for over 5 years. Susie who has been fighting cancer for 0ver 5 years with peritoneal cancer and has been a constant battle. Together they fight this horrible cancer. They are an amazing team ... fighting the incredible nightmares of cancer. Neither lets the other give up. They are an "Bad ass" team and I am so proud to ride for them.

My Story

20 Mar 2021

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step." Lao Tzu

Or in my case 175 miles begins with a single step or pedal.

This is my 5th year for this challenge and I am truly humbled by the generosity of family and friends... and people in general. But, the money we give to the Children's Cancer Research Fund is a drop in the bucket needed for research...but it is the beginnings of maybe the $$$ needed to make the discovery of a medication or cure for a childhood cancer. Every dollar makes a difference in a child's life and their families.

So... 2021 begins a challenge of a new year...please join me as we discover new possibilities... in life...in people...in nature...and in faith....and a cure.
