Cooper Muncy

In early March 2020 at 6 years old Cooper was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. His parents were blindsided. They took him to VCU for what they thought was a few days but then for most of 2020 Cooper was in the fight for his life. His parents couldn't be in the room together with their young son due the pandemic but they stuck by his side and rallied friends and family to be prayer warriors. He had amazing team of medical professionals, heroes for parents, prayer warriors and in the nick of time a special hero donated her bone marrow. Cooper's grandmother Debra graduated high school with me and shared pictures and post on facebook. It was quite a journey. His mother Jen has shared that there was times sitting by his bed that Cooper said he just wanted to go to heaven and dad Dustin told Cooper he wasn't going to sit by his bed and watch him die. Cooper kept fighting. Last week he started the 2nd grade, and he's playing baseball! I'm looking forward to seeing the plan God has in store for him. I have no idea what it is but it's BIG!! I am honored to ride for Cooper as Cooper's Trooper!!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.
