I'm Riding For

Helen Pluzdrak

I am riding in memory of Helen Pluzdrak, my grandmother, who was a breast cancer survivor. She has always been a role model in my life and someone who taught me very early in my life that I could do anything I wanted if I put in the hard work, and if it was important to me. My grandmother beat breast cancer at the age of 80 and lead a healthy and happy life for 13 more years. She never let the disease get her down or stop her from doing anything. She never let the disease beat her. It is because of her that I participating in this ride is so important to me. I want to do what I can to ensure that together my fellow riders and I can help to find a cure to ensure no child has to suffer with this disease.

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.
