This June, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
My 2018 Great Cycle Challenge Update12 Jun 2018
After having knee surgery yesterday and not having a follow up appointment with my orthopedic surgeon until 6/21, I have decided to change my riding goal to 250 miles by the end of June. Please know that I will continue to ride to help raise money all year long; I know last year people donated to my ride after June and it still was accepted and added to my fundraising page. I am hoping to ride at least 2,500 miles by the end of the year.Posted 10 days ago

Knee surgery2 Jun 2018
Have been dealing with torn meniscus since February. My monthly mileage has dropped significantly, but have managed to ride 1,116 miles so far in 2018. I will continue to ride as tolerated up until my surgery on 6/11, and then as much as I can during rehab.Posted 21 days ago
