I am so excited to ride again in the Great Cycle Challenge! This is my fourth year riding to fight kids' cancer! This year I have started a new team, Team HarrisonKStrong! Harrison Korzekwinski is a hockey-loving 10-year-old from a great family with strong local roots He was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is currently undergoing treatments. All are welcome to join the team and ride. No special bike or minimum miles required. To honor him and all other kids fighting cancer, I will ride 400 miles during September. This is my highest GCC mileage goal! I will probably have to include some miles on my bike trainer this year to reach my 400 mile goal, but they still count! 🚴♀️😊
Why am I riding again? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
