My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Training slow but steady

Hi! I want to say a quick thank you for all the support. I’m a third of the way to my goal of $1000.00 for childhood cancer research.

This week I’ve ridden 5 miles on my stationary bike and 3.8 on my outside bike. It’s wonderful to be out enjoying the sun before the snow hits!

Our #bikeswimprincess has a bloodwork check on Monday. Please feel free to share this page! I have 7 months to raise the last $700 but I would love to raise more! Teagan has 10 months left on treatment, wouldn’t it be great if we could raise $2200.00? That would be the equivalent of $100/month of chemotherapy that she has gone through.
