September 15, half way through the month. Miles are more than half way through.
For all of you that know how much Bob Galati loved the Eagles almost as much as his family. This Win is for him. For all those that love and miss Bob donate in memory of him and kids with cancer
After getting a large donation from my cousin I felt led to ride to show my gratitude. I also ride to fulfill my promise to ride 50 miles by the end of the month
Kick Cancer's Butt Day raised $1,690,456 to fight kids' cancer... INCREDIBLE!
It's amazing. THANK YOU so much for your butt-kicking efforts for kids like Charlotte, Kai, Jasper, and Emma, and in memory of Lincoln and Kylie.
It was a MASSIVE day. We asked YOU to take action and you KICKED CANCER'S BUTT! 💪
You've given these families a reason to smile, and more importantly, you've given them hope for a cancer-free future, and the support they need to continue their fight to beat this awful disease.
For that Mark, we cannot thank you enough.
As you know, a group of generous donors was personally matching online donations up to $1,400,000...
And as outlined when we announced this amazing pledge, if we were able to reach the $1,400,000 limit, we'd distribute the matched donations across all your profile pages, based on a percentage of what you raised during Kick Cancer's Butt Day. This is the fairest way to ensure that everyone who made the effort gets the reward. 😊
But unfortunately, this does mean that we can't match all donations dollar for dollar, so you've received a portion of the $1,400,000 based on the total you raised. I'll explain the calculation...
$1,400,000 / $1,690,456 = 82.82% - so we've matched 82.82% of the total you raised on Kick Cancer's Butt Day and added this to your fundraising page total.
Thank God I feel good enough to ride, tonight I rode 5.24 miles and the donations today were 156 dollars. Today is match day so this will help tremendously for the kids❤️
Still a little under the weather, will skip tonight and ride tomorrow. God willing
I have not ridden in the past three days because I have been sick with a very bad cough. I am feeling better, I am happy to say I will continue my ride when I get up.
Second ride for GCC 5.05 miles
Because of the heat and the heat index I rode inside. My distance was 6.02 miles
As I look over that we just celebrated our 250 anniversary of independence. We look forward to the future for a generation of children without cancer. Please pray for the children with cancer.
I believe there is a cure, help those who cannot help themselves ❤️🙏🏻
