    Hi Everyone!

Thanks so much for your participation in this event. When Sanjeev and I started the group, we had no idea it would be so successful. It truly is because of YOU! We hope you had fun pedaling and raising funds for this great cause!

If you are a Henry Ford Health System employee, the system benefits from the time you put into this event (unfortunately donations do not count). Please log your hours of pedaling for this fundraiser. The link to your HFHS site should be listed on the community benefit website. I also added a link below. If you need help reporting your time, please contact Nancy at nmacdon1@hfhs.org or call/text 313-318-0055.

If you have not yet donated, please do so today.

Our HFHS team is rocking it! Thanks for all your hard work in raising funds! Everyone is doing an amazing job! We were able to add 150 miles to the team with our group ride last weekend. We are hoping to add even more this week. :)

This Saturday's HFHS Group Ride will be the Macomb Orchard Trail. We will meet at 29 Mile and VanDyke in Washington Township to join the trail. We will ride from that location to Richmond, and then back. Each rider should be able to log a total of 34 miles.

Start time is 8am! Parking is located off of 29 Mile, just west of the Rite Aid at 29 Mile and VanDyke. The Rite Aid's address is 63033 Van Dyke.

This trail is paved all the way. There are areas of shade and sun. There will be 2 porta pottys along the way, but closer to Armada and Richmond. Make sure you bring water, snacks, sunscreen and hand sanitizer.

This September, Henry Ford Health System is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support us by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

    Thank you.

    Nancy
