This September, Riding for the Kids is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support us by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

“Anthony, a HUGE thank you for pushing me past the $20,000 level. And, and even bigger thank you for sharing my efforts with your friends and co-workers. A couple of them have already donated. These donations go directly to funding pediactric cancer research, which unfortunately is a very UNDER funded. Pharma would rather put its R&D dollars into adult cancer research, as it is an exponentially larger market. And, only 5% of government research grants are directed at pediatric cancer. So, kids like Wesley, and the researchers looking for better treatments, rely on funding from events like the Great Cycle Challenge - which is why I will continue to participate for as long as my legs allow me. ”

“Yes, Ian prevented me from riding today, too much rain! THANK YOU for the donation that put me over the top of my $22,000 fundraising goal. As you may have seen, I had orginally set the goal at $20k. When I reached it, I raised the goal in hopes that it would help motivate donors to continue to give. Should I raise it again? Will seeing that a goal has been reached influence others who were considering donating not to give? I would not want that to happen. As you can see, I am thinking through this I write your thank you. Last year, I did receive a few donations after reaching my goal. I think seeing that the goal was surpassed was a very POSITIVE statement, So, I think I will keep the goal where it is and see just "How High Can We Go?"”
