We Are Riding For
IN CELEBRATION OF JAKE PENNAR
On Wed morning, 1.20.21 Jake peacefully went to be with Jesus. His battle lasted 2 years and 3 days. His mom, Amy wore Jake's Beads of Bravery at Jake's Celebration of Life and said there were 1,043 beads on his necklace representing every needle poke, blood draw, surgeries, mri's, chemo, radiation, therapies, overnight stays. He handled it "all" with grace, determination, bravery & strength. And he lived his life wanting to love and care for others with his big heart. For his 9th birthday on Dec. 30th, he wished not for himself but for others to purchase toys for the kids at Children's Hospital. His light was ever bright! Even when the news came back that the cancer had returned, and his Mother began to cry, Jake said "Why are you still sad Momma, it's a New Day! Sweet Jake! We ride in honor of your never ending kindnesses, the joy you shared with others and the true spirit that you are! Forever our Team Jake! Fly High!

IN 2021, WE RIDE IN MEMORY OF TEAM JAKE!
29 Jan 2021Our sweet and inspiring Jake, who rode with us in September 2020 for the first 24 days of the GCC, led the country in his age group by raising over $6,000 for kids' cancer research. Even though he was fighting his own fight, he rode his bike so other children with cancer could have a brighter future. He led our team with the biggest heart and with fierce strength & bravery until he no longer could. And now, in September 2021, we will ride in his honor, Brave Warrior!

TEAM JAKE
21 Jan 2021This September, TEAM JAKE is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support us by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
