“Anthony, a HUGE thank you for pushing me past the $20,000 level. And, and even bigger thank you for sharing my efforts with your friends and co-workers. A couple of them have already donated. These donations go directly to funding pediactric cancer research, which unfortunately is a very UNDER funded. Pharma would rather put its R&D dollars into adult cancer research, as it is an exponentially larger market. And, only 5% of government research grants are directed at pediatric cancer. So, kids like Wesley, and the researchers looking for better treatments, rely on funding from events like the Great Cycle Challenge - which is why I will continue to participate for as long as my legs allow me. ”

“Thanks so much for the very generous donation, Ed. I remember when our kids were young and playing with one another. Seems like just yesterday, doesn't it? We were so fortunate they weren't battling cancer like Wesley. I will continue to "keep up the good work" by riding for this cause each year....for as long as I am able. Donations like yours adds to my motivation to keep pedaling. Much appreciated! ”

“WOW! What a wonderful "Give Back" day! Thank you SO MUCH. I have heard from Wesley's mother that she received wonderful comments about your customer service. I heard for several who were impressed with the quality and variety of your products. I was so glad we could spread the word about Bunnies By The Bay. It was the least we could do to "pay back" the support you have provided to the Great Cycle Challenge and the kids figting cancer, like Wesley.”

“The "thank you" belongs to you, and comes from me, Wesley's family and the familes of the other kids who are fighting cancer. Your generous donation is very much appreciated. Wesley is being treated for his cancer at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. CHOP recently received a grant funded by the Great Cycle Challenge donations. While the GCC is a national event, they support the research taking place in many local communities. FYI: I will be sure to let Paco and Rossano know of your support. ”

“Yes, Ian prevented me from riding today, too much rain! THANK YOU for the donation that put me over the top of my $22,000 fundraising goal. As you may have seen, I had orginally set the goal at $20k. When I reached it, I raised the goal in hopes that it would help motivate donors to continue to give. Should I raise it again? Will seeing that a goal has been reached influence others who were considering donating not to give? I would not want that to happen. As you can see, I am thinking through this I write your thank you. Last year, I did receive a few donations after reaching my goal. I think seeing that the goal was surpassed was a very POSITIVE statement, So, I think I will keep the goal where it is and see just "How High Can We Go?"”

“Claire, what a generous donation! It truly is appreciated. I am so honored to be riding for Wesley in this year's Great Cycle Challenge. He is such a sweet kid. No child should have to be fighting cancer. Your support will help fund the research necessary to someday find a cure, or at least uncover better treatments. Last September, I met a researcher at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, who is a recipient of GCC grant. As you may know, Wesley is being treated at CHOP. The doctor is working on finding better treatments for the same cancer Wesley is battling. ”

Never once have you complainied about me riding nearly every day during the event, or the hours I've had to spend pedaling to meet my mileage goals (although sometimes you've said I might set those goals too high). I appreciate your support more than you know. I love you!”

I am so appreciate of the neighbors who have supported this cause by making a monetary donation and/or giving blood. The money help fund the necessary research needed to beat this disease and the blood/platelets are critical to literally keep the kids fighting cancer alive. ”
