I’m excited to say that I found the owner’s manual for the bikes at my gym! It was available for download on the internet. I was able to log all my miles last night and that eased my mind. I was struggling with figuring out the app, but now I’m hoping to find a nice rhythm. I’m optimistic again; might even finish my 300 mile goal sooner than the end of the month… but I can’t make any promises. The wildfires are still burning and I can hear the helicopters overhead. It seems like they get closer and closer each time they pass… 😮💨😔 I might go for another ride in the afternoon. It’s helping me to stay focused on a very important cause!!
Well… It’s my very first year and I truly don’t remember what website I saw this challenge on, but I’m assuming it was Facebook. I don’t own an actual bike anymore, so I’m using a spin bike. I started biking on September 2nd because I was a bit sick on the 1st.
I haven’t biked in a long time! So I truly didn’t think about what I was getting myself into when I signed up for this challenge. I couldn’t get the spin bike at the gym to mark my distance in miles, so I was just taking pictures at the end of my rides. Well, I was finally able to take the time to figure all this out on 9/11... I’m motivated to continue pushing forward! I got the app working and I feel like I’m on the right track now. I’m hoping to meet my 300 mile goal but I also know I’m running out of time!!
