With the challenge in the back of my mind I sat on the gym's exercise bike instead of the elliptical, which has been my cardio machine of choice for a while. I figured since I've been training for a while, 5km should be easy, right? Wrong! I had a tough time of it! It turns out the elliptical doesn't quite translate to cycling... something about muscle groups maybe... so for the upcoming weeks, it's time to up my cycling game.
