No words needed.
"Mud flung tires abound
Pedals searching for the gears
The cool breeze approves"
At 120 miles so far - not convinced it's time for a period at the end of that statement as it may change if the weather cooperates. Not because I have to, but because I feel the need to.
Many folks have given to support this cause, and when I signed up for this cycle challenge, I wasn't sure of the response I'd get or the what really to expect. But then came the encouragement, the support, and even met a few locally that were part of the same challenge.
Even my neighborhood "biker" gave some encouraging words and cheered on.
"Mud flung tires abound" indeed.
It's a somber need, but a neat journey.
I set out with the expectation that I would be happy if i got up to 15 miles today (i know it doesn't sound like much, but it's been a butt kicking sort of week).
What I got instead was 18.12 miles, saw a hawk, two turkeys, and quite a few deer.
Whew! And only 5 more miles to hit my goal!
