The following poem, “The Clock of Life,” was written by Tasneem just three weeks before her passing
The clock of life is wound once,
and no man has the power.
To tell just where the hand will stop,
at late or early hour.
Now is the only time you own.
Live, love, toil with a will.
Place no faith in tomorrow,
for this clock may then be still.
