Did You Know: Childhood neuroblastoma statistics show about 650 to 800 new cases are diagnosed each year in the United States, accounting for roughly 6% to 10% of all childhood cancers and it is the most common cancer in infants. Sadly, Neuroblastoma accounts for about 15% of all childhood cancer-related deaths.

Some ask me why I do it. Why do I put myself through the physical and mental strife?? Because there is a very young lady, the granddaughter of a friend of ours, who at 11 months old didn’t have a choice in the matter. But she showed up and did what had to be done and fought the good fight…through the good and bad!! Today she is a beautiful young lady with a great future ahead of her!! She motivated me into taking on this new found challenge…to fight the good fight…to be part of something bigger than myself..to have a chance to make a difference!! Thanks Bell’s!!!

Since I started this event in 2019, not that they are kids, but I have personally been affected by cancer losing my dad to Acute Myeloid Leukemia, recently having my adult son diagnosed and treated for bladder cancer, and 2 Army buddies both diagnosed and treated for cancers.
