Today like so many others I remember the faces now gone from the impact of the Towers.

My friend Rene Davila was a first responder who rushed in. Only later to succumb to PSD.

He was such a great coach and motivator. Heralded by his peers as a “coaches coach”. We swapped ride designs and music and looked forward to the next time we’d get together for the Spinning Conference in Florida.

@We said goodbye the last time after a long distance phone call. Today while I ride the GCC I ride it for Rene.

Such an amazing day. The match challenged us all to network like never before. And it warms my heart to see the outpouring of support for the Riders in Spokes. Year 8 will hard to be beaten. Much appreciated for all that gave today.
