With a ride into the sunset on the last day of the months I finally reached 201 miles.
This year was a struggle and I honestly wasn’t sure, if I would make it, but I did it!
If you want to celebrate with me consider donating to the cause 🥳
THANK YOU to everyone who supported me. Your support means a lot to me and without it I wouldn’t have made it this year. And with your generous contributions we raised $1,127 to fight cancer.
This year the GCC riders pedaled 1,810,054 miles and raised $7,188,975 so far. I am proud to have been part of this challenge for 6 years now. I will be back next year to keep fighting cancer.
Thank you!!

On the bright side:
Another 16 miles done!
On the not so bright side:
A car couldn’t decide, if the wanted to let me turn first or not. They slowed down, nearly stopped and then decided to not let me go first. My re-balance attempt when stopping myself didn’t go well and for the first time in over a decade I fell. The knee took the hit and I’ll see how it will feel tomorrow.
Aufstehen, Kette drauf, Helm gerade rücken und weiterfahren.
Made it home safe.
51 miles to go.
133 miles done, 67 miles to go 🚴♀️
I am halfway towards my riding goal: 101 miles done, 99 to go 🚴♀️
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated so far!! Together we reached $1,000. 🎉
Let’s see what we can achieve by the end the month.
Another flat ride around the Charles River. I am still avoiding any kind of climbing, but a couple of sprints on Memorial Drive which is closed off to cars on Sunday…..sure!!!
I got my first ride in for 2024!
Yes. Seriously. If it wasn’t for the GCC, it probably wouldn’t have happened.
All the gadgets are set up and the 2024 jersey arrived.
I am ready as I can be.
Let’s do this!!
