711 miles (Goal 710)! ✅

I completed the Great Cycle Challenge this morning, finishing at 711 miles (Goal 710). It took me 23 rides to get it done, with one day remaining on the calendar.

I am blessed, thankful and grateful for everyone who has partnered with me over the past four years. It’s been quite a run. We made the financial goal this year and have eclipsed $10,500 combined.

Thank you all for supporting this terrific cause to defeat kids’ cancer.

Now it’s time to rest. It has to improve my golf game. 😄

We are getting down to the nitty gritty. I rode a hard 47 miles today, which included wind gusts I’ve never experienced before. Needless to say, I am shot! 🤕😁

I am watching the weather as the reported hurricane is heading to FLA. I assume I will miss a day or two, but I am in a good spot to finish strong! 🚴🏻

500 Miles ✅

I surpassed 500 miles this morning. I have 200 miles left with 8 days remaining. I feel pretty good about it, although still hot in Florida. 😰

Thanks to everyone who has contributed and sponsored to beat kids’ cancer! We, together, have met the financial goal of $2500.00 this year (Hero Jersey), as well as surpassed $10,000.00 over the past four years (All Star. Jersey). I’ve already sent the all star Jersey to Little Luke (Hero Jersey to follow)!

400 Miles Completed ✔️

A quick update since I passed the halfway mile mark yesterday. I eclipsed 400 miles this morning, and look to be on target to meet my goal of 710 miles by month’s end.

And it’s a tad hot 🥵 in FLA, but we ride on! 🚴🏻

I received the all-star riding jersey for hitting the $10k raised over the past 4 years. Thank you to all who have partnered with me over the years. 🙌🏻

I ordered it in a kids small and will send it off to little Luke since he will always be my All-Star for everything he and his family have been through.

$10,000 Raised

I just completed week 1 riding 100 miles. I have some catching up to do since I was out of town.

However, today, WE surpassed $10,000.00 raised over the past 4 years.

It is a terrific milestone and will certainly assist the kids in need.

Thank you all who have contributed and supported this important cause.

We still need some contributions to meet this year’s financial goal.
