Kiki and I will be riding together from Rincon to Ventura. She has been fighting cancer for over 12 years. As a triathlete, she has a mantra - NGUNS never give up, never surrender. It was given to her by Chad, a dear young friend who faced leukemia with grace and courage. He is with us in spirit and is dear in our heart.
Cancer is a tough adversary. We are grateful for science and the doctors and researchers who have brought so many children, teens and adults out of cancers grip and into a life of gratitude.
We stand together, as we did years ago at Giants Stadium (see picture above) and continue our quest. Please stand with us

I was privileged to work with children being treated for cancer. They and their families often walk this walk with grace and courage. Science has made significant in-roads but much still needs to be done.
