Building off of what Sean started, are any of you interested in an evening group ride in Naples? Any week night this week? 15 miles or so, 14 mph’ish. So, 60-90 minutes of challenge miles.

I am super bummed. My bike rack will not work on my new car, and my bike doesn't fit in the car. I will not make it tomorrow. My husband and I will ride when he gets off work. Sorry gang...

Hello everyone! I hope you see this in time and I apologize for the super late response, friend of mine had an emergency move and I have been helping him with that for the last two days I will attempt to answer all of the questions I read:

I intended for this to be a no drop ride, if others want to ride ahead I at the very least will stay with the person at the back.

I saw a few comments asking about speed so I will say I average around 14 mph myself and peak usually around 21 -23 if the wind is with me and I am really pushing, but again I intend to stick with the last person in the group.

I am sticking to the true Tour de Cape route. MOST of the route is marked some road work on Pelican and a few other areas have removed the markers.

I have absolutely no clue how to check private messages so if I have been sent any I have not seen them. I hope I answered all of the questions and that everyone sees this before tomorrow.

Again sorry for the late reply and post in general, looking forward to tomorrow!

I’m excited to meet all of you tomorrow! I see a few people asking about speed, figured I’d chime in and say my average is 14mph and I’m hoping everyone else is about the same or slower. 30 miles is quite the trek and I’m hoping to not have to drop from the group! Love and light my friends!

I will be in charge of pushing the group from behind---sort of like leading the peloton but from the back----pushing. Also I will bring a bungee cord if someone is willing to help pull me along. See you tomorrow.

How do I check a private message?

What is the average speed on this ride? I don't want to hold the group back.

I was wondering the same thing! I have 3 pm's and not sure where to check them. I want to do this ride, but I have to pace because I had total knee replacement. Not wit quite 100% yet, and 30 miles is longer than I've been doing.

Hello my friend,

Thank you for organizing this ride! I am seeking information about the parking situation? I live in Estero, so will be driving my car out to meet up for the ride, weather permitting, and I just wanted to know if there is ample space to park.

Thank you,

Ashley

Hi Ashley,

There are several parking lots to park, they tend to fill up quickly which is why I scheduled the ride earlier in the day hoping to avoid that situation. There is also a paid parking garage. I plan to be there pretty early myself so I can get a good spot.
