This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Great first outdoor ride13 May 2022
Did my first outdoor training with a lovely view of UAlbany’s graduation ceremony set up!
I completed 10 miles and they seemed pretty easy! Thanks to my indoor training routine. I was able to catch two little birds flying while I went down a hill and right when I get to my neighborhood a bright red cardinal shows up. Legend has it when you see one, it is a relative who has passed visiting. I hope to think it’s Brother L checking in on my first ride for him.
Looking forward to many more outdoor rides so that I may listen and see what at times we fail to pay attention to.Posted 46 days ago
Third times a charm25 Apr 2022
I am looking forward to pedaling it out in memory of a kind-hearted soul that touched the lives of those around him and was tremendously loved by his family. Hoping I can provide some healing one pedal stroke at a time.Posted 64 days ago
