300 Miles. 11 Years. One Goal: A Cure for Childhood Cancer

This year marks my 11th year riding to raise funds to find a cure for children's cancer. Again I have pledged to ride at least 300 miles to help fund life-saving research to find a cure for children’s cancer. I ride with purpose, driven by the love I have for my three grandchildren of which I dedicate my challenge this year. We are lucky they are not faced with the challenges other children face. It breaks my heart to see these children not able to enjoy the pleasure of childhood. They should be learning how to play sports, games or just chilling.

We can help change all that by doing what we can to support them in this battle with cancer.

Every mile is a reminder of why this mission matters.

Every donation helps bring us closer to a world where no child has to suffer from cancer.

Please support this cause if you can—every dollar makes a difference.

Thanks so much for your support as always.

“Carolyn, Thank you so much for your continued support in helping make life better for the children who suffer from this terrible illness. As someone with children and grandchildren, I feel incredibly fortunate that they are healthy and free from this disease. This may be my last year biking for this very worthy cause, so your support means more than ever. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

“Greeting Ellen, This September, I’ll be hitting the road once again for my 11th year of riding to raise funds in the fight against childhood cancer. Each year, logging 300 miles is a challenge—but it’s nothing compared to the pain and suffering these children face. That’s all the motivation I need to keep going. Over the years, I’ve logged nearly 7,000 miles and am closing in on raising $20,000 to support life-saving research. None of this would have been possible without you—your encouragement, generosity, and support have meant everything. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this journey with me.”

“Hey Susan, Thanks so much for your continued support over the years — it truly means the world to me. Susan and I have been so fortunate to have healthy children and now healthy grandchildren, and it's that gratitude that drives me to keep going. This marks year eleven, and it's been quite a journey. I’ve logged nearly 7,000 miles and am closing in on raising $20,000. None of this would’ve been possible without you and the amazing support other family and friends. Thank you for being part of this with me.”

“Hey Sis, Thank you so much for your continued support. This is my eleventh year participating in The Great Cycle Challenge, and I’ve logged nearly 7,000 miles and raised close to $20,000. None of this would have been possible without you, along with the incredible support from our family and friends. We’ve been fortunate to have children and grandchildren who are relatively healthy, and I’m deeply grateful for that. But it breaks my heart to see kids suffering and dying from cancer. That’s why I do my best to help in whatever way I can. Thank you again for being a part of this journey with me. Your support means more than words can say. God bless!”
