My Story

4 Sep 2026

This September, I am participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! On September 13, all donations will be matched. It’s my fifth year to participate in this challenge!

Why? Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed yearly, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer weekly.

I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support the Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please consider supporting me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you!

  • 14 mile morning ride
    5 Sep 2026

With an upcoming orchestra concert and three recitals this month featuring Bach, Beethoven, and Shostakovich, I'm trying to log my miles early. Mornings are much cooler for riding, and I’m encountering fewer bugs! Each day at the refuge brings something new. Today was a little breezy, and I saw more people than birds, deer, or alligators. #seeyoulateralligator

  • Morning at Noxubee
    4 Sep 2026

I enjoyed my first-ever morning ride at Noxubee. The magically mirrored light and animals around Bluff Lake were just as spectacular as at sunset. Today, I saw a deer, alligators, and, since it's migration season, a magnificent blue heron, flocks of egrets, some cardinals, a barred owl, and dancing wood ducks. We are so lucky to have this refuge nearby! #mirrormirror #gratefulheart #beautifulnature
