Hello All Please meet Maddox, who has been battling cancer just about his entire life! Regardless of all this ongoing treatment. Maddox has always kept smiling and never lost hope. I wanted to dedicate my ride this year to Maddox. He has shown me what real strength is and for this reason. I will cycle 1000 miles for the month of September in his honor. My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

9 Aug 2024This challenge means so much to me. During my late mother’s battle with pancreatic cancer. I would wait for her treatment to be done. I would see young children crying. They would ask their parents why them, please mommy help this pain go away! (Hearing this broke me)
When I heard about this organization I just had to join the cause! This is my way of giving back to all the doctors and the community that helped me get through those hard times.
