My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.

  • One challenge at a time… Humble beginnings and modest goals
    28 Mar 2022

There I was, in the thick of filing my personal taxes; its been a weird and unpredictable year for us all, so i was preoccupied with the possibility of yet another HUGE “unexpected” expense.

Right then, an email notification of this year’s Great Cycle Challenge popped in my inbox. I DIDNT HESITATE! I didn’t “wait and see” how things turned out with the IRS before deciding to join (and donate) to this ridiculously important campaign.

So glad I did. My spirits were INSTANTLY raised and a new perspective embraced and renewed vigor and motivation to take on ANY challenge.

I finished my taxes… I went on a bike ride…. All is well.

NOW, let’s get cracking on THIS challenge and KICK cancer’s BUTT!!!!
