This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

My Challenge

    Yesterday I was blessed to be able to ride the Virginia Creeper trail again. The upper portion has not yet reopened after the devastation of Helene two years ago, so I rode from Abington to Damascus and back.

    After the Va Creeper, Sarah and I were able to visit with our daughter Rachel at ETSU before returning home.

    After this morning’s ride, I am now only 29 miles from my mileage goal of 400 miles for the month. Thank you all for your support this month. It has been a heck of a ride.
