My Story

8 Aug 2024

As a kid one of my core memories that marked me as a person today, is the moment I started riding bicycle, being 6 and going down the steep hills of Colombia is truly something remarkable and unique. That’s why this September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it and be able to create memories like mine that can have a huge impact in their lives.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.

“I met Alejandro at the grocery store last Thursday evening and heard that he is participating in this awesome cause. Last year and again this year my son, David M. Robbins will have his picture up at Times Square as one of the many faces of Childhood Cancer. David passed away at age 18 on 11/30/2017 after battling pediatric osteosarcoma. Thank you so much Alejandro - the Robbins Family is cheering you on.”
