Honoring this brave boy and his BB!
My Story
This September, for the fourth year in a row, I am taking part in Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
My team is ATLCycles4Kids!
I am riding specifically for Halston, my dear friend Belinda's grandson. Generally speaking I am riding for all kids who are fighting for their lives.
Halston was diagnosed with AML M7, a rare type of pediatric leukemia. It represents 1% of all childhood leukemia and has an overall survival rate of 35 to 60%. He was diagnosed at 14 months of age and had a series of treatments including a transplant on February 26, 2015. Halston spent many long days and nights in the hospital in Philadelphia to ensure he got the best care possible. He has been in remission since then (over eight years!)
I am raising funds through my challenge to help kids who are still fighting for their lives and to support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
