This is for my cousin Mike Flood who is recovering his life right now due to a near fatal climbing accident. He endured about 12 surgeries, spent nearly a year in the hospital and loss of his foot, and is showing miraculous recovery. I am also riding for his mom my aunt Dory. My step mother Lesley, grandparents Jenny and Joe and my father Bill. We are fortunate that we have not had childhood cancers, but we are unfortunate that cancer finds many in my family. Riding for a miracle and cure. Please help me to help them!

September 2023 I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

I just want to give them a better chance. It is important to me to do this. To be back in the saddle. To Give. To help these kids. I have met some of these kids at UCSD Medical Center (Moores) where I often work. I have been having my own struggles lately. Recently I was crushed in a hit and run and motorcycle accident with several injuries and in August 2019 I was in a bad bicycle crash, new right knee damage and lots of road rash and I broke my neck!! In the summer of 2022 I had my left knee replaced, It is still stiff and I am working out the bugs but I am hopeful to meet my goal. I am blessed to still be able to ride. Everybody needs a second chance, especially kids! Kids need to be playing, not fighting for their lives.
