09/22/2023 - Massive thank you to everyone who has supported and donated to help Fight Kids Cancer. This is my first year doing this and I am humbled by the support everyone has showed. However I am very competitive as well. I am currently 6th in Oregon for individual participants. I would really love to get into the top 5. Helping Kids is in my heart and I am taking this challenge personally. Please help me blow out my fund raising goal and break into the top 5. Update: I have ridden 3/4 of my original goal to date, however if I can reach my goal of raising 2500.00 I will double my miles and go 200 miles. I have not ridden the past few days due to a flat tire and had to order in a new tube. Tube got here last night and I am ready to go for today.

Previous Update: I have ridden 1/3 of my goal and have raised about 1/2 of my fund raising goal. If my fund raising goal reaches 100% before 15th, I will double my riding to 200Miles. Seriously this is a challenge for me. I once was very active but became a couch potato the last few years. My legs already feel like rubber 😃

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
