I’m riding for Landyn. For the little boy who has been at the heart of this ride since I first started riding for him. For his incredible strength, his bravery, his joy, and the light he brought to everyone lucky enough to know him. Landyn passed away surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous fight against cancer. There are no words that can make losing a child okay, and no family should ever have to experience this kind of heartbreak. This year, I’m riding in Landyn’s memory and for his family as they navigate life without their sweet boy. I’m riding for the love they shared, for every beautiful memory he left behind, and for every child and family still facing the unimaginable reality of childhood cancer. Landyn deserved more time. Every child does. So I’ll keep riding for him. For his family. And for a future where no child has to endure what Landyn did. For Landyn, always. 💛
