My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Wilms tumor on May 16, 2007, when I was only a year and a half old. I was too young to understand what was happening, but cancer became a major part of my life and my family’s story from a very early age. Growing up as a cancer survivor has given me a different perspective on life and has made me especially grateful for the opportunities I have today. It also reminds me how many children, adults, and families are still facing the fear and uncertainty that comes with a cancer diagnosis.
That is why I am participating in the great cycle challenge to raise money for cancer. This ride means more to me than just completing miles on a bike. I am riding for the people currently fighting cancer, for survivors like me, for the families who stand beside them, and in memory of those who lost their battle. I want to use my experience to help give back and support cancer research, treatment, and the people who need it most. Every mile I ride is a reminder of how fortunate I am to be here and an opportunity to help make a difference for someone else.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
