My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

I am riding in honor of my father, who passed away from Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma on September 10, 2017.

9 Sep 2024Even though i may have reached my goal, (next year aiming higher ;) ) I truly appreciate all those that have contributed! Thanks to you all i not only hit my goal but superseded it. But there is much more to do, and every dollar counts, i only have 4 more miles to reach my 100 mile goal and am only starting week 2. I am going to continue riding for the month of September (reaching however many miles i can in to the end of this month) and i hope everyone will continue to donate (no matter the amount) every dollar/cents count toward our ultimate goal to get rid of cancer for good! Please continue to consider donating to this very important cause.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to do this not only in the memory of my beloved father, but for ALL those beautiful children out there that needs this SOOO much.

Great start!
1 Sep 2024Today was a amazing day for the start of this challenge. Started my day in the house of our Lord, then hopped on my bike to start what I thought would be a 10 mile ride, nope! Ended up in downtown Denver grabbing a tea at Downtown REI before making the trek back home. The last 4 miles I had a long conversation with my legs…it was something to the effect, peddle me home and I promise to put you up and off the ground. Needless to say my body and I do a lot of negotiating, haha!
Bottom line, such a rewarding feeling! Doing such good for the kiddos and myself!
