This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer, and I'd love you to join me!

Why? Because my own son, James, was lucky enough to participate in a clinical trial that quite possibly saved his life. His participation in this trial to cure Ewing's sarcoma was randomized; other kids don't get so lucky. We need more funding for research so that more kids can participate in life-saving trials and receive the best possible care. Of all the funding devoted to cancer research, only 3.8% is devoted to children's cancer research. (See Project 3.8 on Facebook.) The Great Cycle Challenge provides much-needed support for research.

We have an opportunity to allow Children's Cancer Research Fund to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
