For 2026 I’m riding for those who cannot ride. Every day is a gift. I’m grateful just to be able to ride everyday, so I will gladly ride for those who cannot. ❤️ (2026) This year I am riding in honor of my granddaughter Riley. I want her to grow up in a world where there is NO childhood cancer. I’m still also riding in memory of Patrick Doyle. Husband, father, son, uncle and friend. Rick Baker. Best damn neighbor ever. My mom Lorraine. Also for My beautiful grandson Denver who will hopefully never know the pain or struggles kids with cancer experience. Channeling my inner IronMike to see if I can beat my goal of 300 miles for the month!
My Story
This September 2026, I am taking part for the ninth year in a row in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
