This is my tenth year riding for this event. When I first started I did it for the live of riding my bike, the last few years it has hit closer to those I love. 2 of my very close friends have lost grandchildren to this horrific disease! I am riding in memory of Whitney Kirkeby Joiner and Isaac Lauf, also riding in honor of Cade McKinley and Ellie Turley 2 of our local kids who have fought the fight and have kicked and are continuing to kick butt! These kids that have gone through cancer are the real heroes as far as I am concerned!
