Anna Kitada

Once again, I am riding to help continue my friend Anna's mission to raise awareness for childhood cancer and kick its butt once and for all! Anna never let her illness get her down or used it as an excuse not do things. She was determined, brave, smart, competitive, and silly! Anna, I hope we can live up to your example as we continue to fight childhood cancer with you!

My Story

This year marks my seventh Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer in memory of my friend and former classmate Anna.

Thanks to very generous donations from my family and friends I raised over $6000 through this challenge. This year, my goal is to bring that total to $7000. I hope you will continue to support my mission as you have in the past.

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
