I'm Riding For
Warrior Princess Eleanor
Dear Eleanor, I am so grateful to God for how far you have come, and I am so proud of how incredibly hard you fought. You put on your battle gear and stomped cancer straight into the ground! You will always be my warrior princess. It has been such a joy to watch you grow into the sweet, strong, beautiful girl you are today. You have such a heart for Jesus and for others, and I couldn't be more proud of you. I love you so much, and I'll always have your back! Love, Aunt Muh
My Story
This year, our family is taking on the Great Cycle Challenge to help fight childhood cancer. Our daughters, Rosie and Janie, will be joining us as we ride because we want to raise girls who have compassionate hearts and know the importance of caring for children facing cancer. This is something we're doing together as a family.
We're riding in honor of my four-year-old niece, Eleanor Stephens, a neuroblastoma survivor whose journey is a beautiful reminder of God's faithfulness, strength, and the power of hope. Watching her overcome so much has reminded our family that every child is fearfully and wonderfully made and deserves the chance to grow up, make memories, and live a full life.
We're also riding in loving memory of Anthony Franzini, who is now completely healed in Heaven. Though he is deeply missed by so many, we find comfort in knowing he is in the presence of Jesus, where there is no more pain or suffering.
We're also riding in honor of Wyatt Hornbuckle, who is courageously fighting childhood cancer today. We continue to pray for God's healing, strength, and peace for Wyatt and his family as they walk this difficult road.
Cancer is the leading disease-related cause of death for children in the United States. Every year, thousands of children are diagnosed, and far too many families experience heartbreaking loss. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
That's why we're raising money through the Great Cycle Challenge to support Children's Cancer Research Fund and help fund lifesaving research, better treatments, and, one day, a cure.
If you're able, please consider supporting our challenge with a donation. Every gift, no matter the size, helps bring hope to children and families facing childhood cancer.
As Eleanor used to say throughout her cancer journey, "No, no, no!" Together, let's tell cancer, "No, no, no!"
Thank you for supporting our family and helping change little lives.
Love,
Em
