My Story

26 Jun 2026

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.

Eric

  • Just returned from an epic ride!
    13 Sep 2026

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their support on this year's GCC, and to share a little about an epic ride I just completed with three friends.

Day 1 - We road from Wallace, ID, over Lookout Pass, around and down the Hiawatha trail. At the end of the trail, we took forrest service roads down to the St. Joseph river in Avery, ID.

Day 2 - From Avery, we followed the St. Joseph down to St. Mary, ID, then crossed over and onto the CDA trail, and around to Harrison, ID.

Day 3 - From Harrison, we continued from Harrison to Kingston where we had lunch at the Snake Pit (pulled pork sandwich was spot on!). We rolled on up to Kellogg, ID and stopped in at a mining museum... what interesting history, and stories that called out how hard a brutal that life was. From Kellogg we rolled on up the last few miles to return to Wallace.

    Three days and 170+ miles.

    Would I do it again?

    Can we leave tomorrow?!?!

Just returned from an epic ride!
