This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer. This will be my third year riding for the cause.

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. To quote an old friend, Tyler Hart (He runs marathons to raise cancer funds), this is "...for the kid sitting in the hospital tonight with no idea what tomorrow will bring. It's fr the parents who just found out their two year old has cancer and there currently is no cure. It's for my friend wh his facing her diagnosis and treatment with such grace and bravery, even though I know she is scared. It is for those who continue to fight this disease, and those who have lost their battles."
