This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

So why am I raising money?

Because, like all of us, we have seen family and friends suffer from what cancer does to our loved ones.

And because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed yearly, and tragically, 38 children die of cancer weekly.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. We watched our second grandson fight cancer as a child and beat it. Lost my Dad and my young sister too from cancer. No doubt your family has experienced cancer's crushing impact. Let's fund together and find the cure.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support the Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
