Kenzie's mama writes: "Losing a child to cancer is lonely and isolating. You feel trapped in endless heartbreak, while going through the motions to pretend you are still living. When Gilli called me one day, seemingly out of the blue, to tell me she was going to ride in the Great Cycle Challenge to raise money for Child Cancer Research I was touched. What a gift...an incredible reminder that we are not alone and that my daughter's short life mattered. My hope is that no other family will have to experience the loss we did and that raising money for Child Cancer Research will go such a long way in supporting that dream." Beautiful Kenzie died way too early of Rhabdomyosarcoma. 3 8 23 19 53 . This series of numbers are tattooed on her parents arms. Kenzie's age: 3 years, 8 months, 23 days, 19 hours and 53 minutes. My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer and help the young ones without much of a voice.

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
