My Story

17 Aug 2024

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight cancer ... for kids of all ages!

Why? Because CANCER SUCKS! Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Plus, I have several family members who are currently battling several different kinds of cancers. I'm recovering from a much less lethal form of cancer - Basal Cell Carcinoma. It in no way compares to what others in my family (and ttheir loved ones are going through, but it was still a punch to the gut to hear I had some form of it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help support Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to help these kids and anyone else you might know, have the futures they deserve.

Truly grateful,

Greg

  • It was just me.

I was the only one home and I had to drop the R-Class off at Matt’s before our big trip to Georgia next week. So since I have to ride 75+ miles this month, I thought this would be a great opportunity to kickstart that.

7.94 miles doesn’t seem very far but WOW … My body says otherwise. Lol.
